Launched in 2016, we are in the business of educating WOC about melanoma and sun protection by manufacturing sunscreen that has eliminated all white residue and is infused with organic ingredients. What We Are Looking For: We are looking for a creative and experienced DTC digital marketing superstar to join our team.
What You Will Do: The position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
• Define build and scale, new acquisition programs at Black Girl Sunscreen from the ground up through datadriven marketing and grass roots strategies
• Oversee and develop content strategy for each website/channel
• Drive revenue growth both directly through organic traffic, and indirectly in close partnership with our marketing team
• Transform customer data into actionable insights, seeing real-time impacts to performance metrics like conversion, add to cart, and product page view rate
• Must understand UI and UX
• Be responsible for weekly, monthly, quarterly website performance reporting
• Oversee the maintenance of strategic initiatives that meet and exceed ROAS goals
• Develop strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to support initiatives that will profitably grow the business and enhance the website functionality and experience
• Over time, develop a team of high-performing eCommerce specialists
• Work within a fast-paced, innovative environment
We Would Love If You Have:
• 3+ years of work experience DTC in CPG
• A Bachelor’s degree
• Expertise in WooCommerce, Shopify, and Google Analytics; knowledgeable in SEO
• The ability to manage multiple project tracks simultaneously, utilizing sound prioritization to manage time effectively – can easily pivot when needed & knows when to push/advocate and when to be patient/flexible
• Comfortability with large, ambiguous projects that require proactive, strategic initiative
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners, plus the ability to clearly articulate and express complex and sometimes technical ideas to a wide variety of people
• Strong strategy and analytics skills, with a strong understanding of success metrics
• A solution-orientated, self-starter mentality to think beyond immediate scope to set business up for success long-term
• Enthusiasm, passion, and creativity; thinking outside the box to create best-in-class customer experiences
• A love for beauty or fashion
